Snake fruit chips - The Greencious Munch
This might just be the only snake that won’t attack you when you get close. What’s more, eating this fruit has more benefits than eating an actual snake! With only 82 calories in a 100-g serving of raw snake fruit, it has been dubbed the “Memory Fruit” by many. Here’s why:
- Potassium, beta-carotene, and pectin

I bought this out of curiosity. I honestly can't tell the difference between snake fruit and jackfruit. They almost taste identical but I could be wrong because my taste buds have not completely recovered from recent injury. In any event both kind are delicious and crunchy. The jackfruit has a more overpowering smell than snake fruit. Again, wish it came in a bigger bag than 30g.
The snake fruit chips are delicious along with all of the other fruit chips.
I was most intrigued about this flavor of greencious because I've never heard of, much less eaten, a snake fruit. In some ways, it looks like a tiny little halved brown avocado with the pit removed. It's got a sort of plantain flavor, but a bit more sweet and a bit more tart. These vacuum dried chips have a nice crunch, sort of like a chip but just slightly crunchier compared to crispier, and they're really snackable.
